Kingfisher #1 – Free Embroidery Transfer Pattern
A new addition to my transfer‑style embroidery series is now available: Kingfisher #1.
Like the previous designs, this pattern is offered as a clean outline in three sizes, ready for tracing onto your favorite fabric.
A Bright Moment of Color
Kingfishers have always fascinated me—their vivid blues and warm orange tones feel like a small spark of light beside the water. For this third design, I wanted to capture that lively contrast while keeping the outline simple enough for anyone to adapt in their own way.
This pattern includes the line drawing and a list of suggested DMC colors. There are no step‑by‑step stitch instructions, so you’re free to choose the techniques that suit your style. Backstitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, or a mix of textures—anything works beautifully with this motif.
As with the earlier patterns, the goal is to offer a quiet, enjoyable starting point.
You can keep the design minimal, add decorative details, or experiment with your own color palette. The three included sizes make it easy to use for small accessories, framed pieces, or larger projects.
Whether you follow the suggested colors or create something entirely different, I hope this kingfisher brings a little brightness to your stitching time
😊Happy creation !
