Little Mouse #1 – Free Embroidery Transfer Pattern

This time, I’m stepping away from the bird series for a moment and sharing something a little different — Little Mouse #1.
My blog originally began as a place to offer cross‑stitch patterns, but recently the embroidery transfer designs have quietly found their own audience.
To my surprise, the Robin pattern has now become the most downloaded design on the entire site.
It’s a bit complicated — I’m happy, of course, but I never expected the embroidery patterns to grow this much.
Still, I’m grateful that these small motifs are bringing joy to so many stitchers.

A Gentle, Curious Little Friend

This little mouse is meant to feel soft and calm, sitting among leaves and tiny flowers.
The outline is simple and flexible, so you can stitch it in any style you prefer — neat backstitch lines, textured details, or soft shading with your favorite threads.

As always, the pattern includes the line drawing and suggested DMC colors.
There are no step‑by‑step stitch instructions, giving you the freedom to choose your own techniques.

(From the pattern: “This pattern does not include step-by-step stitch instructions. You will receive the outline pattern and suggested DMC thread colors only.”)

Colors and Calmness

The suggested palette uses gentle neutrals and greens —
DMC Ecru, Blanc, 3033, 414, and 3023 —
creating a quiet, natural look that suits the little mouse perfectly.
Feel free to adjust the colors to match your own style or the project you have in mind.
